How long does it take to get parts too? I have a tractor now that I can get a part in 3 days at my door. I had one tractor that took a week to get parts and I had to get them. Check out where the hyd filter is too if a hydro. Some have them REAL low and in a bad place for a rock to hit them.
You may want another thread on this,I'm adding it now. Get the Ag tires. The ones with the narrow deep cleats. Not the wide shallow so called cleats.

I know some will say they are great. I've had both and I like the ag tires much better.Much better traction. About the only good thing I can say about the wide cleats type they are good for packing down an area that I just dug up and want smooth. The ag type use to just tear it up. The JD 3720 that I looked at to buy a few years back came with either system at no additional cost.
I didn't upgrade from my JD 4300 because of the change to a one-piece hood design and could only get it in a foldable ROPS. The JD 4300 has been a real workhorse for me. Zero problems. Thought I wanted more HP, but only would benefit road travel. Look at the left/right brake pedals. Some tractors with Hydro drive have them on the right above the forward/reverse pedal.
Deere has the individual wheel brakes on the left where they are usable and has individual forward and reverse pedals, not the rocker kind where the heel is used to go in Reverse. That may not be a problem for some not in the need of individual wheel brakes.
Wouldn't be me. I would only suggest to look at the re-sale value to see how the used ones compare after a few years. That will tell the biggest story IMO. I've often thought about a cab, but just can't see doing the work that I do in the woods with a cab on the tractor. However, maybe that is a lot different if the tractor also has the Farmi-type winch such that getting off the beaten trail isn't an issue.
Even having a ROPS is a hindrance when slipping under/qround tree limbs and such. But I haven't tried it so maybe I wouldn't tear up a cab as much as I think I might. And maybe I wouldn't miss riding my tractor in the open as much as I think I might.
